Control arm help Please!! i need help asap
alright so i was changing my control arm on the passenger side of my 2002 ex 4dr and well i disconnected the sway bar control link, and the two big bolts that connect the arm to the frame. BUT! the ball joint part is stuck. I took off the crown bolt but its stuck. Ive tried hitting it with a hammer, prying it with a crow bar. Im out of ideas and im going to get a puller from storage tomorrow morning but i need to be at work at 10am tomorrow so any tips or tricks i would really appreciate!!! THANKS!!

Have you already attempted putting a rachet in between the lca and knuckle, then letting lowering the car back on the ground?

Speaking of lca's... My bushings are cracking pretty bad in front and I'm looking to replace them. Dealer wants $350 to replace and press in new bushings. I want to do the job myself but was curious on my options for replacement parts. Do I 1) replace with OEM bushings 2)replace with an aftermarket (performance) bushings 3) replace the entire front lca with a better one (not sure if there is even an aftermarket front lca).

Dezod has ingalls lca's for 89 dollars each they come with polyurethane bushings. http://www.dezod.com/cat_control_arms.cfm

While I'm down there... Are there any other bushings I should replace while I'm at it? My ride isn't currently dropped but I'm planning to do it in the near future.

So I ended up buying the front lca & purchased the energy suspension front control arm bushing kit. I think I duplicated my purchases... does anyone know for sure?
