Skunk2 Coilover Spring paired with Tokico Blue's
Skunk2 Coilover Spring paired with Tokico Blue's
Pro's and Con's?
Is this a good combination?
Also will it be fully adjustable?
or should i stick with my plan of going Tokico Blue's and Progress Springs?

lmfao, ok I have nothing good to add, but that was just hilarious to me at this hour. I will say, that yeah, word on the street, skunk 2 sleeves suck, the only acceptable setup as far as sleeve cloilovers goes is koni/ground control.
Re: Skunk2 Coilover Spring paired with Tokico Blue's
blues wont handle a 2in drop. i also heard that skunk2s suck. if you do wanna stick with the skunks, koni ftw. if it were me id do ground control with koni.
Re: Skunk2 Coilover Spring paired with Tokico Blue's
i would beg to differ. right now im sitting on blues with tokicos. about a 1.8 drop all around and my shocks blew in the first couple months.
they might handle the drop if either your car sits in your driveway and never drive it or if the roads you drive on are prefectly level and have no pot holes.

So far my car is on Blues with Goldlines, coming to about 2" drop and they have been on since summer and its fine for the horrible roads here.

Pictures?
these pictures are not really new....I have made many changes since then, but the suspension remains the same! I have a type r front lip, skunk 2 weighted shift **** w/rsx adapter for my short shift setup, painted drums and calipers, new tires, and some other adjustments but you can get the gist of the drop with these!

and post above me;
Nice car but i'd say change the wheel's the some bronze or gold wheel's and take out the trim and you'll have an amazing clean EM2.
Other than that, nice work though and the drop looks real clean

I hate the auto resizing, makes the pics pixally. Click on the yellow bar above the pics for the original size.

Tokico Blues are better than OEM struts for higher spring rates, but that doesn't say much. I would stay away from any Junk2 products outside of trinkets and doodads.
Re: Skunk2 Coilover Spring paired with Tokico Blue's
skunk2 coilover sleeves i heard are really bad. they are pretty cheap as well. you can get them for the same price as some regular lowering springs. i have eibach and stock struts and it's not that bad actually. i'm looking into getting some kyb to go along with my springs.
