Rear suspension making noise over bumps
Hi,
I have a sedan, and it's about 2 weeks my rear suspension (right side) is making squeky noise when I drive slowly over bumps or uneven roads. I took the wheel out and checked.. can't find anything wrong.. bushing is fine.. suspension is fine (just replaced stock ones with tokico blue recently)...
so I sprayed some WD40 on all the joints... and the noise went away for 1 day and came back again... and I took it to a shop to check and they said the same thing... nothing wrong everything is tight... they told me just lub it every time I do oil change....
Do you guys have similar problem? wat could be the problem?
Thanks!!

Same issue here, mechanics said everything is good to go. However, sound kept coming back. I basically gueseed, and replaced the control arm and trailing arm bushings and magic!! no more sound.

Re: Rear suspension making noise over bumps
I feel for you bro... i have the same problem. Taken it 3 different shops, and to a friend who knows a thing or two about suspensions and they all say everything looks fine. It has gotten a lot better - though, seems like something settled and I only hear it when I go over speed bumps now. Before driving slowly or bumpy road, I'd hear it. I'll just wait a few months and next time I go in for an alignment, I'll have it checked out again. But what can I say, everyone says that noise is not normal yet they can't find anything wrong with the car....
and im lowered on S-techs and factory everything else.
And the noise only happened AFTER the installation. Someone mentioned it was something with the lining of the springs, had to realign them or something, but once again, my car seems good to go.... rides nicely when going fast.
