18s - do I need a camber kit?

Will I need a camber kit?

I just bought some 18 inch Tenzo-R Drive X-7 wheels from a shop and I have a 2005 coupe. Has anyone put 18s on and not needed a camber kit? I don't know if I'll be lowering it on springs/struts or coilovers yet, does it matter in regards to needing a camber kit?

If your just going to put the rims on it wont make a diffrence but once you lower it you will need a camber kit no matter if you get coilovers or shocks and springs

Re: 18s - do I need a camber kit?

if the drop is moer than 1", you will need a camber kit, mainly for the rear
just putting rims on doesnt effect camber
you will need an alignment though

if you don't care about changing tires every season, you can live without a camber kit... although its a good investment
