Hey, i purchased this alarm a little while back and just realizing now that it isn't very loud, when it chirps or when the siren goes off. Any way to turn up the volume ?

well you cant turn up the siren volume. but when you chirp it there is a loop on the siren you can cut that will make it louder. if you want louder siren, you can either get a second siren and wire it in parallel, or just buy a whole new siren. the loudest ones are the motor driven types. you can find alot on ebay. i got a 99 bmw oem siren thats sounds neat. pretty much any DC 12v siren will work.

lol i saw that, i was almost getting one of the burgler alarms that stores use haha but then i saw the bmw and couldnt pass it up. sounds sweet and very different than anything else. but yea you just cut the old wire to siren (power-one wire) and connect to new siren. each siren has its own ground that you just attach to a chassis point. that motor driven one is gonna be ear busting loud

exactly. and the siren determines the loudness. motor driven is louder. now with viper sirens (dei) there is a small wire loop coming out the siren. if you cut it, it makes the chirp louder, NOT the siren tones. check ebay for sirens, they have a ton.

alright so when i open my hood, look at the horn and there should be a loop wire coming out of it?, im pretty sure there are just 2 wires,, red and black ., Sorry if im super noob, and thanks again for such quick reply's guys.
You could also wire up that alarm to your horn, so that it would have the siren and your horn honking, which would be loud and annoying to whoever is breaking into your car. They also have small "ear piercing" sirens that you can put inside your cabin to make it extra obnoxious.
The most you would have to do to hook up the horn to honk along with the siren is wire up a relay...
