Taking stock head unit out
Taking stock head unit out
I have an 02 Honda Civic LX sedan and i'm putting in an aftermarket HU. I know how to take out all of the stock stuff BUT the antenna cord coming from the back of the stock head unit doesn't come out (or at least i don't know how to take it out). Do i have to cut it? If so, then how would i hook it up to the new head unit? All of the other wires just pull out but this doesn't look like it does.
Sometimes the first time you try to pull the antenna cord out it is a little tight. Just grab it as close to the radio as possible & pull straight back. Work it a little. Be patient, it will come out.
