confused.
you want to bore cylinders, install sleeves, gain horsepower? i do believe that sleeving a block is just for cylinder strength not power gain (read below)
cylinder sleeving is used to increase the strength of the cylinder walls mainly for turbo applications. the stock walls arent very strong under boost and are limited to a certain ammount. sleeved block can handle much more pressure. some builders claim sleeved blocks capable of up to 30-35 psi.
Hp gain before and after would be nothing i meen, you bore the cylinder, insert sleeves, bore the sleeves to fit the pistons and put back together? how does that make power?
maybe i'm confused by the question, try again.

your right dude. I knew that upgrading to a sleeve kit would give me more capability to hold more boost and make the cylinders walls stronger but i wasnt sure if there was any hp gains if done so. Thanks for the info.
Theres so many variables like compression, fuel, cam, air to see whether you would gain power. But I would argue that since you have more displacement (assuming you are keeping stock stroke length) you will have more power assuming you aren't choking the engine with not enough cam or anything else that i said above.
when you bore something out to take a larger diameter piston you increase displacement2.0 to a 2.30, 1.7 to a 2.0. you can increase hp by using a wider piston, because u have a larger displacement. u need more fuel tho, a larger combustion chamber need more a/f to work out rite
