what wiring harness to get for alpine 9857

i found this metra 70-1721 wiring harness listed in one of the DIY.

will this work for an 2004 civic coupe and the alpine 9857 HU?

just goto any store and say you need the one for a 2001-2005 civic. i believe its all the same but ask anyway if the new civics 04-05 are different. its only for the factory wiring that matters. you still have to splice it to the deck harness anyway by matching the description of what the wire does to what the alpine does. do not match by color.

I don't know the exact metra kit model #. I do know you the need the "Honda 98+up" wiring harness. 04-05 are the same as any other year. I have an 04.
