As Im driving and car is at normal temp, if I turn on the a/c, there is almost a type of glitch in all electronics:

radio goes out and comes back on
abs light comes on
gauges tweak
car sometimes cuts out and stalls if im going slow enough

Im thinking a relay may get hot and draw to much or something, im not sure though. any ideas? thanks

Sounds to me like some kind of alternator/battery problem. I had a similar prob. with a car of mine years ago and it was bad alt.

that ac is too much strain for the car man. sorry that was no help idk, is the engine light on?

You could try to hook up a volt meter to get a better idea of whats happening. If the battery is weak or the charging is not up to specs.

Is it the original battery ??

ya it sounds like a damaged or drained battery. when the ac kicks on, it draws alot more than what the alternator provides. so everything must switch to battery power, which if less than 11-12v, stuff starts dying.

I was driving to work one day last year and my old battery terminal clamps were loose. I hit a bump and the positive terminal came off the battery so EVERYTHING was running right off the alt. My voltmeter went nuts, reading as high as 18v. My gauge cluster went equally crazy, the needles were bouncing everywhere and all the indicator/warning lights came on. The stereo turned off and on, off and on, and even the carputer was rebooting. Then I slowed down for a stop and the car stalled before I could even come to a full stop. After I reconnected I was fine.

All that said, check your fuses, alt, and battery, and make sure no connections are loose or corroded.
