VAFC II and the K20A3
After doing some searching I came up with very little and my question was still unanswered. So anyway... does anyone know if it would help at all to change the vtec engagement point for the K20A3 engine? I am selling my VAFC II to my friend who has a 2002 Si. He was reading up on the install and people are saying that changing the engagement point will hinder rather than help and to only make adjustments to the air and fuel. What do you all think about this? Is it true that the K20A3 runs on 12 valves until 2200rpm when the vtec engages and then goes to 16? Seemed weird to me that people are saying that you shouldn't, because is that not the same sort of idea that we have in the D17A2.
