when you put your springs in...
What did you do with the dust covers? did you cut them down, take them out, or did you just put the springs on and leave them alone. do I really need them? Will it really make a difference? And should I have them on when I put the tokicos on?
It's supposed to protect your shocks from getting crap in them. I have the eibach sportline springs and the directions said to cut them down and leave the rest on there. I don't remember how much you're sposed to cut off thoug..
if you read what i wrote closely....
<< keep them! they are also your micro-cellular progressive jounce bumpers! (bumpstops), and keep the micro-cellular progressive jounce bumpers out back also! >>
the front dust covers have the bumpstops contained in them....SO KEEP THEM!

Eibach says to cut off 29 mm off the bump stops for the Pro Kit springs. That's cause your car is gonna sit about an inch or 25.4 mm or so lower and you will be hitting the original length bump stops if you don't.
