Koni yellows 50mm or 55mm

I tried searching, but I could not find anything.

I was wondering if I need a 50mm or 55mm koni yellows. I know your suppose to measure something and figure it out.

what exactly are you suppose to measure to figure which one you need??

if someone could post pics of what I need to measure, that would be great.

TIA, phu.

What year? I got 50mm for my g/f's 01 ex. I think 02's you have to measure, then 03+ are the 55's. Someone chime in and correct me if i'm wrong.

I don't know what you mean by strut housing. That's the reason I requested a pic.

Above the spring seat and below the shock piston. Measure that diameter. The stock ones are black, the tokico ones are blue, etc....

Well if thats the case my suggestion would be to buy the Tokicos.
But if you must, you need to measure the same place you cut.
Measure the diameter where the cutter is.
