Hi i just installed a AEM Cam Gear and A Lighten Flywheel also change oil and Now my car not working normal ... it can only rev 3000 to 3500 around there please help

is there a CEL (check engine light)? If so, get it read it will help you out. Did you retard/advance timing on the cam gear? Check all sensors are plugged in if any were unplugged.

Well assuming that you installed everything correctly, reset the ECM.

maybe you installed the cam gear wrong. a lightened flywheel will affect how the car drives, but I'm guessing that since you can't rev past 4k the check engine light came on. Go have it checked.

cam gear is on 0. All sensors are all plug in. Check engine light is on from removing the catilic convertor.. How do i reset the ECM??

get the codes read sounds like conflicting issues with the ecu since you dont have a cat.

disconnect the battery or pull the FI ECU fuse. If the cel is on because of no cat, it won't affect performance. a/f is read from the primary 02 sensor

make sure all electrical items are off. start engine and hold it untill 3,000 rpm with no load (park or neutral) untill radiator fan comes on. or engine temp reaches 194 F.

then let it idle for about 5 minutes with throttle fully closed.

if the car starts and runs its not the flywheel, my guess is that you have the cam gear set wrong or the is a conflict with the computer. have the codes read, just because the lights on becuase of the cat being out doesn't mean there isn't more codes. is the car runing rough or skipping?

errr it's not the flywheel install the stock flywheel and stock camgear and still doing that oh well i guess i going put back the lighten flywheel and the flywheel and have the computer read..i think it might be something wrong with the vtec system.. stay tune..

well when the engine light turns on, it limits the rpm even if the real problem isn't engine related.

my engine light has been on b4 and my motor did rev all the way to the rev limiter...but his situation it sounds like the vtec might be messed up and the car isnt letting it rev past the engagment rpm...maybe????im not sure but it has to be an electrical problem, at least you know that much

tdc sensor not working.. will fix later to lazy= the sensor $65 + the computer testing $132 out of my pocket dang .. hopefully will work ok will i going replace that sensor
