Dumb Question (Cuz im dumb)
I have a set of megan coilovers sitting on my bedroom, and have not installed them cuz i whant to know first how to adjust the camber and the height on thse, i tknow they have a 3rd lock and you can pre load the spring, but what how do i do this, i mean, i really have no fisrt hand expereicne with any of this stuff (live in mexico) and what to know of to do it
also what is the benefit or need of preloading the spings?

- put them in
- adjust them till you have the right drop you want
- there is only a way to adjust camber with fronts.......camber is all hype anyway

I agree with the all-hype thing. When the shop was doing my alignment after my Megans were installed, they futzed around with the freakin camber plates for 3 hours. I was just like "screw the camber, fix my toe I have to leave". Was an hour late for work.

Anyways. Don't preload the springs, just set the collars so the spring is tight between the collars and the upper mount, but not compressed at all, then tighten the collars in place. the 3rd locknut is tightened against the lower bracket to lock the shock in place. Don't set the camber youself without the proper gauges.
If you cornerweight the car, they'll set the preload, the alignment shop will take care of the plates.
