I had 18 Focal F5's with 215/35/18 Toyo tires. They rubbed as soon as I put them on, I still don't know why.
What kind of rims do you have, and what is the offset.
ps unless you have a camber kit, buy cheap tires with that drop, you will probably go through a lot of tires
peace

siracer how much was the focal f5's? cause thats what i'm planning on getting. i got quoted 1300 out the door with falken tires. dunno the size of the tires tho. did you have a drop on it? cause ya 2 other people dont have a problem with rubbing even with a drop... maybe the rims are made different??? n i heard you didn't really need a camber kit for a 1.7" drop. but ya maybe its good to invest in one?

SpdRcrChk, do you know how much you dropped with the coilovers?

i'm plannin on dropping my car with sportlines soon. then ya i'll get the rims a month or two later. i just want to know if it'll rub or not cause if it does i probably wont drop it yet. i know its better to drop it after you get rims but i dont have money for rims yet and i cant wait that long so...

My Focals were 1100 and I sold them for 1000. If anyone else wants them, let me know and I will see if I can get them, I don't know why I had so many problems. 17" for now

I've got 225/40/18's with no drop right now. I've never had a problem with them rubbing, even when I corner hard. I'm looking for someone the drop my car but they all say it's gonna rub and hit if I do. My suggestion; get 215/35/18's...gives ya a little more to work with.
