Problem with HID kit, SRS light... Help me Telly/anyone?!

So I'm an idiot and go buy an H4 Bi-Xenon "TechOne" HID kit...

Looked like simple plug and play right? Nothing worked....

So I finally come up with all the variations to plug it in, and try them all.... i.e. stick the prongs going into the H4 socket in different variations.... All 6 combinations. Not 1 works perfectly, and worst of all, now my SRS light is on... (I'll have to check tomorrow if it's simply a fuse.... oh please oh please oh please just be a stupid fuse!) SRS light came on after messing aronud with the HID setup...

Anyone willing to help me out and investigate? I have no garage/driveway to work in. I'm even thinking of just getting rid of the kit....
:hithead

UPDATE Labour Day Monday:
So I went over to Telly's place, and once again he has stepped up to the plate to help a fellow 7th gen guy out...

- The head to wire labelled 3 or 4 (the white one) fell off during installation... damn POS soldering...
- We ended up leaving the solenoid disconnected - the wiring is indeed different for the 7th gens.... or at least the Acura ELs....
- I just need to aim them now....

Thanks again to Telly.

Though, I may still sell if anyone is interested.

Should be a simple plug and play and theres only one way to plug it in. Diagram above was very clear instruction, check the fuse and upgrade them.

Well guys, I've given up on HID into my 2001 Acura EL.... This kit isn't plug and play, as it looks like I have to modify the H4 bulb wire that locks the bulb in place, and/or the rubber grommet that holds the H4 bulb in place...

Plus, I have no idea how to get it working in true Bi-Xenon... I can only get it working in low-beam only - if I hit the high beams, the HID goes off.... no idea....

So, not to spam, but I've decided to sell.... At a loss... If you're interested, you can go to the Canada FS forums....

If anyone here has this kit, PLEASE LET ME KNOW, MAYBE YOU CAN HELP ME! AND MAKE ME HID!!!!

Hey fuzzy I just got your voicemail now, I'm free tomorrow (will call). I think I know the issue you're having. The H4 plug, while physically the same for all cars and motorcycles that use this format, is actually different on the 2001+ EL's and Civics compared to, say, the 96-00 models. This is why my Brightstars plug right in and work on my EL, yet on my friend's 1.6 I actually had to snip a couple of wires and reverse them. Anyhoo, I believe it's just a matter of getting the spade connectors into the proper sockets, I don't think it'd take long.

Upgraded fuse didn't work, the wiring for the sliding high/low mechanism is very flimsy (one broke when I was THREADING the thing through the rubber gasket dealie. These things were so WEIRD to install. At least we got the high beams working eh Fuzzbot?

Yo Telly, the seller says he stands behind his products...

If it's defective, and/or doesn't work, (supposedly) I can return it to him and he'll give me a new one, at the cost of shipping... $35USD, x2, back and forth..

Whatcha think?

I haven't had time to adjust my headlights down yet, but it's quite darned blue for 6000k, and yes, it lights up the street signs 8ft off the ground a bit too much... i.e. alot of glare... I'm thinking of vinyl to mask off the top 1/3 of my headlights (versus aiming them down...) Your opinion?

Vinyl eyelids won't kill enough of the stray light to be effective. You'd have to do some kind of crazy shielding INSIDE the headlight housing.

Honestly I don't like how these bulbs came with such little instruction. If this was meant to be installed DIY then it should already have come with a harness as well, which it didn't. Even my Brightstars came with an H4 plug. I wouldn't trust a replacement of the same brand either. See if he'll pay for all of the shipping and send you a set of just the low beam ones.
