Turbo install gone bad need help
Ok I got everything put on for the most part last night. The only things is we couldn't figure out where 3 of the nuts went for the studs on the oil pan. So I started the car to see if anything would go wrong and all the oil came out when I started the car. It came from the back of the oil pan where the oil drain plug is. Would thoughs 3 studs w/o nuts be the cause of this? Need help I have to get my car up and running tonight. I also put RTV sealant when I put the pan back on. Any input on this should help me out some. Thanks
spell check pwns you

Are you talking about the 3 nuts that hold on the oil return line,, or 3 nuts that hold the oil pan to the block? If your talking about the oil return line, junk it, go buy a performance store buy earls fittings and have them welded onto the pan. Thats the only way your going to be forsure its not going to leak. Need anymore help message me on aol,---- webbiedx

Where is the oil leaking from, the return line where you had to drill through the oil pan, or where the nutless studs are?
If it is return line then you should get it welded or use some instant weld stuff atleast.

The oil filter and pressure sender are right above the drain plug in the oil pan. Did you tap into the sender bung for oil feed or did you use an oil filter sandwich adapter? You are probably leaking oil from 1 of three places.
1) Where the oil pan meets the block from improper reinstallation of the oil pan.
2) The oil filter or sandwich adapter.
3) The oil pressure sender or oil feed fittings
Remember that any fittings that are not compression-style fittings must be sealed with teflon tape or paste.

I just realized you have an LX. The LX oil pan has a gasket. Did you put a new gasket on? Whenever I take the oil pan off and put it back on, I use a new gasket and Hondabond.
