Thumbs up Megan Fully Adjustable Coilovers Vs. Tein Ss

I started a thread because I was intrested in Megan Coilover System. I didn't know alot about them other than they were adjustable and cheeper than the Tein Ss. After posting my thread and talking to a few people I now Know Megan Coilovers is a better way to go for me than Tein Ss. It is true that Tein has built a great reputation for having good suspension and everyone runs to them before thiking about the others and reading up on the others.Me I decided to do some reading and this is what i came up with......

Megan Coilovers

Tein Ss

Megan Racing Coilover Damper Kits offer 32 Levels of damping force adjustment, full-height adjustment, and are matched with front and rear Pillow Ball upper mounts for camber correction.

Springs are made of SAE-9254 Steel, and are tested over 500,000 times by compression inspection. With deformation less than 5% and high strength sophisticated surface coating, spring durability was highly improved.

Spring Rates:
Megan 8kg Front and 10kg Rear
Tein Ss 6kg front 8kg rear.
This makes megan coilover system ride alot stiffer. These are RACE coilovers so they will suit your racing needs but may need some getting used to for daily driving.

Damper Adjustments:
Megan Coilovers Offer 32 levels of adjustments compaired to Tein Ss 16. This makes Megan alot more adjustable to suite ur needs.

This Was Quoted From Keepingitclean Off 7thgen
He Said and I Quotr "The megan coilovers are made by the same company BC that makes the apexi. They are internally the same but externally, they might be around 1 percent differnt in appearane for legal purposes.

They are 32 ways adjustable with pillow mount including caster adjustment. It comes with a one year defect warranty. The spring rate is however, a lot stiffer than tein. 8kg in front and 10kg in back to reduce understeer. These are RACE coilovers so they will suit your racing needs but may need some getting used to for daily driving.

These coilover are not on the same level as tein ss. SS is for street use and these are race use not to mention more adjustability and better materials. These are more comparable to tein RA. Just to give you an idea, Chris Milano, the team falken drift champion personally came up to megan during D1 booth asking to be sponsored by them. So now he sports these coilover on his s14 240sx"

All of that is meaningless. Get a shock dyno plot for both.
Then make your call on which is better.
Number of damper settings means nothing if you don't know the range of adjustment
5% deformation tolerance is standard, thats nothing to be proud of.
500,000 Cycles means nothing. Steel is assumed to have infinite fatigue life (Beyond 10^8 cycles).
A one year warranty doesn't hold much confidence in the product.
The only thing that might set them apart is the pillowball, assuming its made well enough where it won't work loose and bang around (it happens more than you think).
Just keep something else in mind... the overwhelming majority of people who don't get paid to use parts or race, and have to buy themselves, don't use fully assembled kits. They pick and choose shocks and springs that work together (Penske, Moton and Koni are 3 you'll hear a lot of, (Eibach/Ground control, Hypercoils and Progress are springs you'll hear a lot of)...
Reasons behind it..... the warranty, they're backed by many year warranties (some life). They're US based. Nothing goes overseas to be looked at and replaced, so its faster, they're cheaper to get (Penskes and Motons are flat out pricey, but you can't do any better) and they'll make em any way you want em.

What you posted was the marketing lines....
