Suspension tecs help with Koni yellows
I recently installed a set of konis in my 03 coupe. I would like to know the best settings for them. I'm using Progress Springs no problems at all by now. Opinions of better springs are welcomed. Looking foward for a complete suspension project. Will appreciate any advice on any other performance part for my suspension. Bushings, Bars, etc. I want to get the best for the car. please help me out.

Tuning with Dampers 101...
but first....
1. There is no "best setting".
2. Stiffer does not mean better handling, and there is very much a thing as over dampering the car.
3. its the difference in valving front to rear that alters the handling balance of the car.
otherwise, Tuning the handling of your car with Konis is really quite easy. Simply increase the valving on the side of the car you want to have "stick" less, (Increase the valving on the opposite side that you want to have stick more). So, if the car is understeering Increase rear valving (Or decrease front valving) if the car is oversteering do the opposite. Also, you can increase the stering responsivness of the car by increasing the valving on the front of the car. HOWEVER, this will also increase the amount of understeer you get on corner entry/exits. so you are going to have to find a comprimise between steering responce and the oversteer/understeer balance you want.
