its odd to see the ebay prices are higher than the dealers lol.
but idk about megan racing coilovers. they make good cheap products at a good price but theres something about meganracing i wouldnt go with. i have there exhaust downpipe and its great, but coilovers is serious **** and i wouldnt personally trust megan on that one until i an proven wrong.
probably because they havent been out long enough to earn good rep? but let us know how it works out if you plan to go that route. FYI, you also have other choices if your spending 900 on full coilovers

I talked to a guy who is sponsored by megan racing (I didn't know they sponsor?) and he said the place that makes them also makes the apex'i ones and that they're the same ...

Personally, I'd avoid about 90% of the prebuilt coilovers on the market...

Ok.. 32 levels of adjsutment? That tells me presicely Squat about the damper. what gets adjusted? Rebound? Bump? both? And then they go on and suggest damper settings for different uses? That tells me that they dont know a thing about tuning handling with dampers. Not to mention the questionablity of the dampers them selves, Have they been dyno tested before being sold? and on their 32 levels of adjustibilty how much of a difference is there between setting 1 and setting 32? And how liniar is the progression? Ect ect ect... There are too many questions unanswered.
any way, done with the rant.

I really respect you zzyzx with your knowledge on suspension parts. But this time, you might want to do more reserach. Megan coilovers are the same as apexi becasue they are both made by BC. Reviews on clubrsx will make you think twice about these coilovers. I am personally a vendor for megan on eby and also use these coilovers on my tl. I suggest if 04trinicivic if you want a stiff ride and great handling, go with these but if you want just a drop then these will be too aggressive for you. FYI, team falken's Chris Milano uses these coilovers on his falken 240sx. So I would assume his team knows more about suspension more than the average Joe on this site. If anyone has questions on these coilovers, you can check them on the megan site or pm me.

Honestly, I'd stick to the places who make suspension parts and not much more than that. Places that have been making a living doing it on the track usually tells you something. Some just on the scene coilover with lots of attractive features just doesn't yank my chain.
You want to find out just how good they are? Call Koni, ask to talk to Lee. He 's one of their R&D guys and will shock dyno anything out there for free. All you gotta do is ship them to him.

I agree about the preload, I only preloaded mine to about 3/4". It was getting too tight to tighten it much more than that anyway, even with the coils off the car.
Ok guys I have two choices right now & I was wondering if u can help me choose one. My car is daily driver, alot of street alot of HWY driving & I'm planing to take it to track couple of times a yr. Right now I have two choices so far on Coilovers:
Tein ss = $1400.00cdn
Megan Racing = $1200.00cdn
Which one would work best for me?? Any other good ones? Should I just go with springs & Koni yellows instead of coilovers?
thanks
