Need Help: Electrical
My H.I.Ds are acting g@y lately, the passenger side won't come on
... only turns on sometimes after i switch it on/off a couple times. I'm not sure if its the hid kit, the wiring on the hid or its my car. Neone with electrical knowledge please help me out, or maybe you can direct me to a shop with experience.

if you did try disconnecting the "Daytime Running Light" Fuse
if not then it sounds like either your ballast is malfunctioning or there is a lose wire somewhere. See if you can warranty the ballast

1llmatic's got it right. For some bizarro reason I see this happening only on the passenger side of our cars - happened to me too, so I ended up swapping bulbs. Troubleshoot it by swapping ballasts, then bulbs, and if the igniter unit is separate from the ballast assembly. Definitely disconnect the DRL, it's useless to you now anyway.
I'll be in the Hamstertown area this Sunday early afternoon so if you like we can get together and check it out, just holla at the TeLLy celly.

Mine used to do it when i first had them installed, but i had forgotten to take the DRL fuse, now they are ok. Since then, i think its only happened to me once or twice, but yeah, wierd how its the passenger side that does it.

So we have to take out the fuse for the DRL light after the HID installation?
I installed my 3 weeks ago and the DRL is light ON, should I take the fuse out? However, everything was working fine at the moment, will I get into the same problems if I take the fuse out for the DRL?

I have no idea. I think I just don't have enough juice going to the ballast. I'm gonna try this aftermarket harness that hooks up to your existing harness which connects to your battery... kinda hard to explain, but hopefully it'll work out.
BTW, does anyone know how to hook up the HID so that when you turn on your highbeams, it doesn't turn off the low-beam HID?

^^^ you can't..... because we only have one reflective housing with Hi/Low sharing the same housing and lightbulb. I could be wrong but if you have hi and low beam HID on at the same time, that can seriously blind someone...hahah
P.S. my Xtec kit is a piece of ****...

Oh no... I just want to avoid having the HID lowbeam turn off when the highbeams are flicked (even though I have NO highbeams). Yes, pretty much useless, but I just want to avoid hurting the bulb... since having the HIDs turn on and off rapidly would harm the bulb.
But nevermind that for now... I'm more concerned as to why my driver side keeps flickering off after like 10 minutes of driving. I'm thinking its my rad fan turning on, and having some accessories on at the same time, resulting in a slight loss of voltage to the ballast (since the ballast is supposedly really sensitive to a slight loss of voltage).
Anyone have any suggestions to that?

If you guys are sensitive to voltage.. buy an Optima Yellow Top.. they're deep cycle.
Also.. check to make sure your wires terminals are on the plugs properly.. because if not.. they'll result in your bulbs not functioning.. much like mine at times.. the terminals are too loose.
