rsx sway and tie bar question

would i have issues with an upgraded rear sway bar (perferably 19mm rsx sway) and/or rear lower tie bars rubbing against anything after installation?

i have a buddy who just upgraded to a progress bar and hes giving me his rsx sway for my EX. he has problems with his progress bar rubbing against his exhaust/muffler.

u should be fine... My axel back is 2.25 piping and it clears with the RSX 19mm swaybar.. and it was fine with stock muffler too...

should be no problem.. tie bars dont really do much i believe..

good luck!

PicCoLoboi02 is on a distinguished road
my Thermal back then banged against the muffler/exhaust so i had to add new hangers for it to hang lower...i had a kit anyways so it was all good.

Boggie1688 is an unknown quantity at this point
If ur exhaust is stock...u should be fine. If its not just run down to the local muffler shop and have them bend it a little to clear the sway, or u can place a rubber hose around the area of the sway bar that hits the muffler. I recently installed a 22mm on my stock EX and it clears fine.

The RSX bar will not rub against anything stock, as long is you don't install it upsidedown. I will be putting on my Apexi WSII soon and don't expect any problems.

thanks for the replies.

my exhaust setup is an apexi world sport exhaust if it matters? anyone have that same exhaust and rsx sway? i belive the piping is 2.4" -+

so tie bar would have nothing to do with rubbing the muffler/exhaust?
