OK, I just bought some Skunk2 Coilovers and I think I'm about to buy the new Tokico D-Specs and I was wondering if the two would work with each other. I heard that my stock shocks would blow if I put the Coilovers on... Is that true? Would this set up (D-Specs and Skunk2), keep my ride low and smooth??
THANKS

d specs will be nice, but i havent been seeing a lot of good coming from skunk2....a couple guys in here have had their springs break and i know u have coilovers but still
i have skunk2 coilovers w/ stock shocks. riding on them for a year and not blown. i avoid major dips, bumps, potholes, etc and drive pretty damn careful everywhere i go.
couple members here tried to install kyb shocks with their skunk2 coilovers and they wouldnt fit in since the skunk2 coilover is pretty slim/narrow. i talked to a personally mechanic and said skunk2 coilovers were more meant to go with stock shocks then aftermarket. i guess thats there design?
also, shocks can blow at any time, its just your habits of driving. as for tokico d-spec fitting with skunk2 coilovers, i would doubt it but what do i know, i never tried it.
