Question about Neuspeed Sport springs

I am planning on getting some Neuspeed Sport springs (1.75" front drop, 1.5" rear drop). What other parts do I need to go along with them? Front and rear Camber kit? This is the first time I'm dropping a car, so this is new to me. Thanks

You need front and rear camber kits. SPC makes a good one. Hit up the vendor Truehonda for a good deal. Also the stock shocks won't last long, so you can wait or replace those with the springs. For shocks you have tokico HP, KYB AGX (adjustable), and some others. It's prolly better to get adjustable kind.

Don't forget alignment once everything is on.

imo, front camber kit isnt neccessary. i bought both front and rear SPC camber kits but ended up not using the front. been over a year and no negative/positive camber wear at all on my front tires. rear camber kit on the other hand is a must. not required, but highly suggestive.

Not always true. I have the prokit (smallest drop 1 inch maybe) and they said it needed a front camber kit or they couldn't align it to spec.

Why won't the stock shocks last long? Does the drop make them wear out faster, or are the stock shocks just poor in general?

the drop makes them blow out faster. Even on a small drop it'll happen eventually. Too much stress.

Ok so I need to get shocks, too. I checked a few shops, and it seems like there are no Tokico HP's for 2005 Civics (or 2004). Are you sure I can use these?

What shocks would you all recommend to go along with the Neuspeed Sport springs on a 2005 Civic, and where is a good place to buy them?

The tokico new version should be released soon. Others have modified the older 01-02 by brilling a larger hole for one of the mounts or something. So they will fit, but again they're not adjustable. Check out the kyb agx, they are adjustable (can make them softer or stiffer) and maybe they fit 04.

So I just need to wait for their release? That's fine, the Konis are too expensive IMO.

I did find something, though. Check this out:

http://www.streetlevelperformance.co...%20Shocks.html

They have Tokico HP's listed as "2001+". What do you think?
