Question How to change windshield wipers?

Okay guys, anyone kind enough to tell me how to change the windshield wipers?

I know its at the owner's manual, but I left it at parents' home and I won't be able to see it for another week or so. So yeah, if you can just type up how to do it it would be great.

Thanks.

There are 3 parts you could change
1. the blade inserts
2. The Blade
3. The Arm

I imagine that you are getting crappy wiping and want to change the inserts so you can see when it rains ???
If that is the case there are two different types.
One type has a Silver Arrow shaped clip on the end and the other is the same without the silver clip.
The inserts have 2 metal strips on the long sides of the rubber insert, those metal strips have to slide into The hooks on the sides of blade.
This is really hard to describe, but once you see it, you'll know right away.

Anyhoo.. to remove the inserts you have to slide em out, if you have the silver metal arrow tab, then you will have to squeeze that. I ussually end up breaking the thing off, which is okay, cuase the old insert goes in the trash.

To get the new inserts on the car, You have to wiggle the plastic insert into those slots on the blade, you can bend the insert quite a bit, and you will need to, sometimes it's a really tight fit... You will see that there are about 9 sets of slots on the blade, you have to feed the insert through each on of those slots. Then keep pushin it down to the next. If you get the inserts with the metal clip, just make sure that it clips into the first slot when you've reached the last slot.

To answer your last question yes you have to push the clip near the pivot to get the blade off. hold that down and push the blade towards the passenger side of the car.

That is if you want to change the blade. ...

If you just want to change the insert you can do it while it's still on the car, I've done it in a Wal-Mart parking lot in the Rain several times.... seems the rain reminds me I need to change em, can't quite figure out why., .. lol
