Symptoms :
I hear this knocking noise coming from my axle and the CV joints, when i slowly accelerate from 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear !
The knocking, sounds like its coming from the middle.
There are no grease on both of my rims.
Do you guys have any idea what it could be ?
CV boot broken ?
Driveshaft ?
Front axle ?


stupid car, waited till my warranty ends then it breaks on me !

I think I know why mine does because I changed my axels and when I put my suspension on I cut the boot and when I ran my car basically all the grease came out and I had to clean it up, n sutff. only on the shorty side.

check your tightness on your lugnuts, actually jack up the car and tighten them. I had this same sound and 3 of my lugnuts weren't tightened like they should have been. Tuner style lugs are notorious for loosening themselves, especially when not torqued to specs.

I checked everything last night ...
motor mounts
axle
CV shaft/boot
lugnuts
and everything seems to be fine, when i test drove the car, the sound was gone .. so whatever was making that knocking noise got scared and ran away .. i hope he doesn't come back

I'm getting that same knocking noise. Sounds like the motor mounts or something, like the engine is knocking against something. Mostly notice it when i'm shifting 1st to 2nd then let the clutch out, or even going into 3rd when the RPMS are high enough. I've got an 03 Si (Canada) with 49Ks on it. Its already been in for the rocking seat but they had to order parts for it, so i'm going back next week. I guess i'll get the knockin sounds checked out too. Anyone else had this problem?
