Question on camber kit

do you really have to have a camber kit, i found another way to reduce the camber in my alignment, i don't know if it is the same as a camber kit though
can someone post a pic of a camber kit on the site or in this forum to help me out
thanks in advanced.

SedanBoy is an unknown quantity at this point
did you need to replace any parts for this other method of reducing camber?

To adjust camber, you need to replace the entire upper control arm.
This is a picture of the SPC Rear camber kit

I guess you could use longer bolts but I'm not sure about that. You'd have to buy specific bolts that are exactly the length you need and it differs from height (the lower the drop, the longer the bolt would have to be). Plus it would be way easier to just buy a camber kit to adjust camber.
But if you've done it, could you post some pics and the parts you used.

well what i wanted to do was add 1/2 inch of shims to the top control arm and work form there its obviously not as accurate as the camber kit but it serves the same purpose, i know that that is what people used to do ont their cars in the old days....
