Car shakes when A/C on

this is my 1rst summer with the civic and i noticed that when my A/C is on and i'm either in park or not moving at a red light, about every 30 seconds the whole car shakes for about a second. my RPMs dont jump and nothing happens to the A/C, still blows cold air like always. i was wondering, did any1 experience this b4, if so what is the problem?

Boilermaker1 is a splendid one to behold

Thats not a problem. Its the compressor turning on. It drowns power for a moment as it fires up... thats what causes the shake.

thats normal.like what Boilermaker1 said every couple seconds your compressor for the a/c would cycle on and off. everytime it engages it will rob some power from your engine causing it to shake a little.
