Hey Need Help with BP Valve

Ok I bought a BP Valve for my Injen CAI. I can't get the damn thing on. The injen is a two piece so I am trying to put it where they are seperated. But one of the peices has a dam lip to it and it causes the valve to slide off. Has anyone installed a BP Valve on an Injen and if so did you have the same problem. Did you have to cut anything and if you did. What did you use to cut the pipe. Please help this is driving me nuts.

I have a CAI made by AEM. With the AEM you actually need to saw the pipe in half and put it on that way. I'm not to sure if it is the same with Injen. I hope this helps...

You can't get it on at the joint between the pipes?
If not, you're probably gonna have to cut the pipe. Use an abrasive cutting disc and make sure you clamp the pipe into a jig so you go straight through it.
But to be totally honest... if you drive smart, you don't need it. I've driven through water up to the bottom of the bumper (Like 5 or 6") and when you go through slowly, you're not going to have a problem. Just kick the clutch in and slowly let the car idle through the water.
