so me and a couple of friends felt like looking at some cars at the dealers we have around here. nice hot day out here in arizona, but it was a good day for some test driving .
so to start of this glorious day we pull into the mazda dealership to check out the new rx8, wow that things a beauty. so the story, i thought to myself while were here lets test drive the 2003.5 mazdaspeed protege, which is some eye candy i might add. me my friend "matty" and adam got in with the dealer and went for a spin. bottom line, considering there was two 230 lb guys in there and 2 180lb guys in the back, man the thing actually halled some ballz. nice interior, good sound system. picked up well in the gears. all in all, nice ride, for about 18 out the door. hehe id take one. well we pulled back into the dealer, and there jointed with the mazda dealer was the mitsubishi dealer, <---- cracks a smile
< ----says in a polite voice, hey aj, let me test drive that thar evo viii. now lets just say right now the lancer evo is one ballzy car. that thing took off, even though there was the same ratio of friends in the car again. i was a little dissappointed though, both the speed protoge and evo, sure felt nothing like the srt-4 i think its faster imo. the lancer felt good though, nice roaring engine with smooth shifts, and that all wheel drive sure made the turning funn . and thats the end of the day, test drove two bad *** cars. i think in a year or so ill be purchasing the speed protege, pretty nice package for less than twenty.
