swapping engine legal?
hi guys, I know that I can do a swap but how does that affect when its time to do emission's, I'm wanting to do a swap but first can someone tell me what the law states when it comes to dropping in different engines into a car? thank you guys for any help.

rule of thumb.....

The engine must be the same date or newer then the chassis.

what about if the motor was never a option for that model like if I was to do a B18 swap would that be legal?

yes, again, if its same year or newer, and can still be obd2 compatible
