Well, it was a state trooper with a red crown vic with no lights and factory wheels and everything. He claims he had me on radar (I saw it in his car also) BUT my radar detector never went off and i had cruise set at like 83 and he was claiming 77. I have 205/40-17s...I know they are smaller but not that much! I'm thinking that he never had me?? I was going just as fast as everyone else but I was in a spot where I was by myself...they always get me for every little thing they can.... If I have my license plate on they'll pull me over for tint EVEN if I'm surrounded by tinted cars! ****ING PROFILING!

I did not get a ticket but did get a written warning and it's bothering me. I did however get a no front license plate ticket...and got out of my tint ticket because I have the exemption. The funny thing is he was looking at my windshield and I knew that he could tell it was tinted but wouldn't be able to get his levelmeter on there.

What I want to know is if anyone else thinks this is fishy, the speeding thing?? Yes I know I'm lucky because it was in a 65!

How about.... don't bitch for getting pulled over for speeding while you actually were speeding.

Or just be glad you didn't get a ticket.

if you were speeding, the officer had the right to pull you over. When he pulled you over, he noticed other things wrong with your car as well.

I got pulled over by a stock monte carlo with no radar detector. I was doing 95 in a 65, I deserved the ticket. He could have been pacing you.

speeding is speeding. regaurdless of how his crown victoria looked and your radar detector not working you were speeding. and to beat it all you just got a warning. relax and slow down.

Oh ya, radar dectectors are obviously worthless, they pick up radio frequencies from radio stations, cell phones anything so dont waist your money.

Okay, logic check. Did he or didn't he stop you for speeding? Uhm, let's see, yeah, he did. So obviously he KNEW you were speeding, and you admitted to it, so it was a legitimate stop. Kwityerbitching and be glad you didn't get a ticket.

ya thats weird he def didnt clock you if he said 77 and u had ur cruise set for 83. idk maybe he was giving u a break but doubt it. he didnt give u a ticket for speading cause he didnt really clock u. its just rough. luckily u got out of the ticket. it couldve been worse.

bullshit or not, you are still lucky bro. if i were u, i would take it as a lesson and start removing things from the car that could attract police.

take it easy on the highway. i learn that i rather be late to work/school 3 minutes than risk the chance of a $250+ ticket + record point(s). make time to leave early so u dont have to speed

think about it this way.... if the cop knows that your speeding and sees you fly by other cars like superman, they can bullshit you all they want cuz when it comes down to it, they're still right. he/she could say radar, or tailing you, or pretty much what ever they want. if you did get a ticket and wanted to fight it, than that cop's BS will need proof to back it up.

so maybe think about it this way, he gave you a warning cuz he didnt get it on the radar and was just trying to scare you into not speeding anymore. the cop just wanted to teach you a lesson and was doing it for the better of the public.....now.... dont complain! :P

I agreee with ya'll 100% that I was lucky and I WAS speeding and if I would have gotten a ticket i would have deserved it but...what I was getting at is that I don't think he actually clocked me.....If he would have said..."It LOOKED like you were sppeding..." I would not be makiign a big deal...it's just bullshit that they can pull a person over and lie about crap like that even if they aren't giving a ticket...

I know I need to slow down but I am a VERY impatient person...and it has NOTHING to do with saving time...I just can't help it....idk

the cops can make up anything. Trust me.

A cop pulled me over the other night cause he thought I was watching a movie on my screen. I wasn't. He proceeded to search my car. Could have made a big deal about it, but it wouldn't have been worth it. He didn't have any kind of probable cause.
