Car got totaled... what next?

hey guys... i have a question that i would like to ask. The other night some drunk idiot crashed into my parents car and totaled it. What happened was when he crashed into it, it moved up and crashed into my civic's rear bumper because it was parked one behind another. The question i have is, since my parents car got totaled, the insurance will replace it right? if so, how much will the insurance pay for it? are they going to pay the actual value paid for the car or less? and as for the civic...i guess they will fix the bumper and give it a paintjob?
