What do you guys think of this one?
Ok, when I hear about this, it pissed me off.
I guess there is some chaos going on at a local police department because 4 officers parked their cruisers at a very busy highway interchange/largest mall in the state intersection during the middle of rush hour. They walked out into the middle of the intersection, watched the light and gave tickets to people who were in the middle of the intersection when the light turned red for their lane.
Now I know that you're not suppose to block an intersection, but there are times where there is no judging, and I think giving out tickets for that is totally stupid.
Wonder if you guys share the same amount of digust I do.

I find it ok...because people should be able to tell if they're gonna come in a grid lock or not. Whenever I drive in Gooksville, those gooks would try to do whatever they can to get ahead but at tha same time as tha other side turns green and people try to turn in that lane...they focked up tha system which would cause even more problems! My word of advice..."IF U CANNOT MAKE IT...DON'T DO IT!"
There are times when you can tell, but some of the people they were giving tickets to drove into the intersection, and if traffic had moved, they would have been able to go forward. The thing was, 2 intersections down this main road, there was a truck that broke down, and there was only 2 lanes instead of 6... so their reasons weren't really justified.
These officers have been suspended without pay until an investigation has been complete, so I'm thinking that the department must not have liked what went on.

police officers can shut down any intersection, road, alley, highway, interstate, crosswalk, fire lane, handicap parking, street in their jurisdiction if they are inforcing the law at that time.... now as far as what they did hear i dont agree with, but they have every authority to operate like that.

Well, the whole story was just released to the public today. I saw it on the noon news today. They still don't have the full story, but it looks like nothing will happen, just a weird kind of story.
they do that in front of where i work all the time. they wait for the traffic to build up and write tickets to people who drive on the shoulder. however, here, they are on orders from the mayor to do so. they are doing it to pull in extra money for the town. f*cked up in my opinion. they police are supposed to protect and serve, not harrass and raise money!
