carfax and accident

ok, I got a quick question for you guys. I had an accident a while back, and now I'm thinking about selling my car. I was just wondering if the accident will appear if I they do a carfax report. This was a minor accident, only my bumper was busted, and it wasn't even that bad, only a few deep scratches and my licence plate was f'ed up, but we did exchange insurance and stuff. Pls help me out if you guys know.
btw, there were no injuries, like I said...minor s*it...

if you reported the accident to law enforcement authorities, then it will most likely be on your vehicles history. You might just bite the bullet and check CARFAX yoursellf, because I'm not sure if insurance companies report things like that or if it is just law enforcement.

I don't have free carfax report, and I really don't see the point in actually buying one. Thanks anyways.

If the accident was reported to the police, it will be on the report. 95% of all accidents that are reported usually do show up.

Checking the report for yourself isn't a half bad idea either. If it's worth it to you, a single report is only $19.99, or unlimited is like $24 something...

Then you don't have a whole lot to worry about. It might show up on there, but just as what it said on the police accident report... a minor accident.

Well, if the accident wasn't reported to the police, it shouldn't be on your report. Might want to call your local DMV or stop by and check up on it. They should be able to give you a full report if not for free, for a nominal fee ($10?).

it will only show up if the accident was reported to police authorities and a police accident report was filed.
