Insurance Points Contest

I know someone with 26 insurance points...I won't mention who.

Can anyone beat that?

Some of the violations:

multiple parking tickets
95 on the turnpike (65 double fine zone)
about 4 accidents
a couple that were just scrapes and weren't reported too

some drivers...

I am still unclear on how this points **** work. Is it in every state, I have never heard of it here. But I would beat everyone if this points **** was during the 3 yrs. before this previous yr.

I think i've had a total of about 10. Had my license suspended cuz I had too many tickets while I was under 18. Then several tickets since then.

Here is the points system in AZ, not sure if it's the same everywhere.

DUI - 8
Extreme DUI - 8
Reckless driving - 8
Racing on highways - 8
Aggressive driving - 8
Leaving the scene of accident - 6
Failure to stop for a traffic signal, stop sign or to yield the right-of-way, causing death - 6
Failure to stop for a traffic signal, stop sign or to yield the right-of-way, causing serious injury - 4
Speeding - 3
All other moving violations - 2

8 Points = suspended license!!

If I were going by that I would have 9, but I only have one speeding ticket in my life so no points on that and my red light ticket was in another province so no points for that either.

1. obstruction of view - no points, stupid fine...I wonder how a cop saw a tiny air freshener when I was going 65 in a 65 passing him when he was stopped...damn cops profile the car and driver

2. speed warning - no points, no fine

wheeeeeeeeeeee

thank god for the laser/radar detector and the fact that I live out in the middle of ****ing nowhere and all roads are smooth

"exhibition of speed" - 2 points, not eligiable for traffic school. i thought i got off easy with a $149 ticket but my insurance is now $220 a month.

i was spinning doughnuts in my buddies 240sx. it was in an empty parking lot late at night so i thought it would be ok......the 3 cops watching me do it from across the street that i didnt see however didnt. as soon as i left the parking lot i saw them all run into their cars so i took off and made a quick right turn only to get stuck at a redlight where they surrounded me.

Parking tickets??? How the f**k did those get on insurance points? Those aren't moving violations, so they can't count those on insurance/dmv points!
