Diablo is an unknown quantity at this point
get the new tags and go to court show the judge proof of new tags and explain to him that you never got any notice in the mail its worth a try. it all depends on what mood the judge is that day. down by me the fine is like 240 well thats what the f_ _ _ing cop gave me about 5 years ago.

All you need to do is get them renewed before you go to court, and then show the judge or prosectuor you did that, then they should dismiss the case. Thats how it is here, and should be the same everywhere. As long as you get it renewed, you will be fine.

Yes seeing the judge is good! Never just go and not talk to the judge! The judge will bring down the fee 99% of the time. I've never known anybody that has seen the judge and hasn't got the fine reduced!

renewing your rgistration should be your responsibility, you shouldnt need a reminder to do it. here in maine, you have a 30 day grace period before you can get a summons for expired reg.
