Hahaha. That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard of. Maybe you can tell the crazy lady that the tape isn't blocking any light! You want a pic of how mine look without tape so you can show her they're the same? Seriously this is going too far. Everyone hating on mods all the time.

Rep Power: 310 just take it somewhere else to get an inspection. once again, why i love WV.. ya know people, you're untouchable. i don't even take my car to get an inspection, i just go and tell them my info, 2002 civic, blah blah blah, and take my sticker home and put it on.

A couple years back the DMV failed me for my stock gas cap. the guy gave me **** about it was too loose and "oh someone must have switch yours cap with another cap at a gas pump".
So I ordered a new cap from Majestic Honda, but I wiped the outside of the old cap off with soapy water and left it there. And when I went back with the order receipt, I magically passed with the same cap.
Man they really worked me that time. They also bitched about my steel pedals, oem headbulbs "too blue", and windshield wipers too dull. And to top it off, the mother****er sloppily stuck that ugly sticker onto my windshield. There's a huge *** airbubble larger than the white square (w/ the year in it)
This was the DMV in Wayne/Totowa, next to that Fountains of Wayne place

If it's just the headlight covers they're cracking you on, then you should keep on going to the DMV. The DMV is a great place to learn the condition of your car, aside from having to bend over at the dealership.
At a p.i.c., you'll be in and out in 30 minutes and is handy for those with heavily modded cars. Not saying that the gas station guys don't do they're work, just that they can be more lenient

I went to the one at Dayton route 130, that bitch didnt even put the 'rejected' sticker straight either.
