how u doing? can i ask you something? coz i got caught by a cop up in mississauga (kennedy & derry) for having a white indicator light on my headlights, having a blue license plate cover ( which is not even dark coz its faded) and for having a silver faded tint..........do i have a chance of fighting it or should i go for the lesser charge??? hope u can help me... thanks....


Like I always say, theres always a chance to fight it, but seeing as there is 3 tickets, you might wanna set up a first appearance meeting with the prosecutor and see if he/she can do. If you go to this meeting and tell him/her that you have corrected the problems, then im sure a resolution can be met.

Cool. Hey Narc, goin back to the white indicator - I assume he meant hyperwhite turn signals. As far as I know, white signals up front is legal, as long as the bulbs aren't tinted, am I right?

I have just spent the last hour going over the Highway Traffic Act regarding front turn signal lights. I cant find anything that says what the colour of the front indicator lights must be.
There is a section that says only white or amber permitted to be displayed at the front.
There is a section that says the turn signals must be visible from a certain distance.
I might be wrong here, but in reviewing the act, it looks like its ok to have cleared headlights with white bulbs.
Ive even looked into the section that relates to flashing white lights, and it only talks about headlamps...the flashing of high beams. nothing to do with turn lights.

Narc is on the case. Investigation is ongoing. Refferal the the Highway Traffic Act has yeilded negative results. Narc intends on conducting a thorough investigating with the aid of the Traffic Services Department. Update to follow.

yeah man! i think every ticket is worth fighting...there is always a chance. Plus what u suggested above is right. Fix the issue...i.e lisence plate, light .. etc and im sure the prosecutor will sympathise.
