I was on my way to Magic mountain going down 5 from Sac and I got pulled over doing 103mph. Anybody have an Idea how much this will cost me? The cop wrote it as a traffic violation not a misdemeanor.

If that's the section you were cited for, up to $500, and/or up to 30 days license suspension. Is that the vehicle code section listed on your ticket as the violation?

I wish I could tell you how much the bail amount would be. I always get asked questions on how much the violators ticket would be and all I tell them is I don't know, just wait in the mail.

it depnds on the county but usually in LA or Ventura county it is like 5 or 10 per MPH over the posted speed limit.
let say it was 65 mph was the posted speed limit.
that is 38 mph over speed limit
times 10
equals $380 bills.

Were you cited for 22348(b) or 22349(a)? Judging from my past experiences, it'll probably be at least $300.
If you got cited for 22348(b) it's going to look a whole lot worse on your record. Your insurance will skyrocket and you'll get two points on your record (if convicted, of course).

I got busted last yearon i-5 in yuba county for going 105mph on the 4th of july it took the cop 20 mins to catch up since he was going the other way and since i was cool and not being an *** he knocked 6 mph off the ticket when he wrote it wich save me like $155 and my DL I also got busted going up to chico 2 days before going 99 mphs at night and i got off the hook becuase i was the only one on the road at that time and i was cool about it then too
