Cop messed up my ticket
I got pulled over for having my front 2 windows tinted last night, the cop screwed up my ticket, he said my car is blue, its black and he said my eyes are brown, they are blue, the eyes arnt a big deal, but is there any way i can like go to court and try to get the ticket canceled by saying he wasnt paying full attention at the time he issued the ticket or some crap like that?

the colors are similar so it probably won't work. i'm trying to fight a ticket cause he put down the wrong address and a wrong plate number on one of the tickets but everything correct on another he gave me
I had something like this happen to me a few years ago with eurolite bulbs. The cop pulled me over for having "green headlights" I went in with the box, which says they give off a blue tint and has the DOT stamp on them, along with written statements from the other 4 people in my car. On the ticket he also put down that I was driving alone.
In short, the charges were dropped. If he didn't break out the measuring tool, I would think that you have a good chance of it being tossed. They could just ask to see your car though too, in which case you will be given the same ticket. Plus by fighting it, if the cop hears it, he will be out to get you to some degree probably.

word, they will try and nail you again if you get out of it so you will have to change it, but then again they will nail you again anyway. and I have never heard of them asking to leave the courthouse to see your car....thats a little iffy to me.

hahahaha ya my friend said if i win im gonna have 5 cops waiting for me in the parking lot. but i dont even know when the cop saw my tinted windows, i had the front windows rolled down the whole time, then i saw blue lights behind me so i pulled over. and after i got pulled over he never asked me to roll them up to actually look at them, so im gonna use that too. then i am going to point out how he messed up on my car color and he messed up on my eye color he put down brown instead of blue, and my eye color is on my liscence so he has no excuse for that

Injen, if the info on the ticket is incorrect, then the ticket is invalid (trust me I know from a lot of experience). it says the color of the car on the insurance and the registration so the cop was a dumb incompetent fool. and they can ask you to roll your windows up, thats not wrong.

Just thot id bring up a point. The colour if the car itself is irrelevant with respects to the charge of window tints. If the officers notes say that the the colour of the car is accurate, but the colour of the car on the ticket is inaccurate, the prosectutor can simply get the ticket amended.

thats why i wanna somehow try to use the color and how he messed up with my eye color against the officer and say something like how was he able to accurately know about my tint if he messed up on the ticket twice, he never looked at the windows after i got pulled over, and then i still dont know when the officer saw my tint in the first place, because i had my windows rolled down from when i left work till i got pulled over
its worth a shot, if it doesnt work, i still have to pay the same amount as if i didnt try, so yea right now im just waiting for all the information to get to me in the mail
