SO ya just curious to hear about peoples stories of when they've been pulled over and what kinda car got them.

I was gonig donw I-5 in Oregon by Eugene (if u know where that is) and i was gonig pretty fast about 110-115 or so give or take a couple MPHs. well im flying by cars and what not, to a point where there is no more people to pass for alittle bit so all three lanes are clear. so you'd notice something pulling up on you. well i did, and it was a State Trooper unmarked z06 corvett. ya like 1 of the 2 they have on the O.S.P i was like ****. wasnt even struggling to pull me keep with me. so i pulled over. and the cop came up to me and when threw his talk about who he was etc..... and then he was like nice car looks clean. i said thanks, well he asked me if i knew why i had been pulled over. i said i was over the speed limit alittle. he kinda laughed and was like ya just a little. and he asked do u know ur speed sir. i said i dunno 80-85 kinda kidding around alittle, then he said ya i clocked you at 83mph. he told me hold on, as he went back to his car, and came back with a ticket. he was like i gave you a brake this afternoon, because this was the first time i had actually gotten to test out my car in pursute and you seem like a good kid. he said go on and slow it down and drive safe.

ya i was amazed with what had happened. because i could of really been screwed there for almost doubling the speed limit. so ya jsut curious to hear about some other peoples police stories that have taken place.

first off this is in the wrong forum.

second off if you were going that fast they would have clocked you while they were following to check your speed again. Plus you would have gone to jail. And second no one is ever let off the hook for I am guessing you were in a 70 going 83, no one is ever let off for going 13 over. so

actually on monday on my way to work i was doin 95 in a 45, but every1 does like 65. n i was weaving through some traffic n i cut off a dodge durango n increased speed. i looked in my rear view n the durango started to catch up with me n outta no where all these blue n red flashing lights came from his winshield. He said it was a$275 ticket... but he was letting me go with a warning cuz i was polite :-)

we just have regular cop cars where i live, and the snotty motorcycle cops who think their crap smells like roses.

i got pulled over in another town on mother's day a couple years ago, i was in my 91 beretta, i was 16. it was down a lonely highway and i decided to hit 100 mph, luckily i had slowed down by the time i got to the hiding cop bronco type thing, and it was a sheriff. he pulled me over, and he saw a brown folder that said "youth bbq tickets' on it and he asked me what that was for and i said my youth group at church, and he started saying "yea i should be in church this morning, but i had to work, etc etc" and then he said "ok can u quote john 3:16" and i started saying it "for God so loved the world.... " then he stopped me and said "ok have a nice day"

and i got pulled over by a cop in a normal cop car for not coming to a complete stop at a stop sign, and stupid idiot me said "oh i have a habit of that" and he wrote me a ticket. but my dad is a reserve officer, so he fixed it

and for speeding on a city street on my way to school (i was a junior then, in my beretta), and i started wallowing in my self pity making up a story that i was late for math tutoring or some crap. he let me go

Got pulled over a while back for passing someone 15mph over. I slowed down afterward, but it was still speeding. I don't speed more than 5 over anymore unless I'm passing a truck or something dangerous. I'm done with that stuff and can't have another ticket. Oh and it was a police motorcycle.

Just got pulled over recently for blue underglow neons by campus police after a chemical spill at school. Got a warning.

$135 for going 84 in a 55 at 1 am on a Wednesday. Who would of though that cop would be sitting at 1am on a weekday. I justed wanted to go sleep and I was afraid of getting in an accident. But I got no pitty from the State Trooper. Even though I just pulled over when I saw him put his head lights on. Cops aren't too nice in Baltimore.

well duh i got the speeding ticket for 83 mph which was $350. and in oregon they can either clock ur speed with a gun or match it(by driving behind u or besides you) ofr got to put that little bit of info in there sorry.

i just did a little reasech online, and if you are driving at 85 mph or exceeding the posted speed limit by 30 mph or more it is considered reckless driving and is an arrestable offense, punishable by no more then 1 year in jail and/or a hefty fine. so unfortunatly you cant go 90 in a 50 and not get arrested.

I had that happen when going to the bars to pick up friends. He flagged me down and asked why i was "racing" through the streets. My respone was the truth, "I wasn't racing through town I just didn't bother to shift out of first because I was turning around up the block, sorry my car sounds faster than it really is" Then he got on my case for drinking and smelling alcohol in the car when he watched 3 drunk ppl get in the car. I hadn't even had anything in like 2 days. Oh well, he was bored.

Was doing just over 90MPH in a 55 just before midnight.

Female cop pulls me over from outta nowhere. She was in a new crown vic.

After talking nicely with her. She gave me a tickt for 70 in a 55 to keep me from going to court.

was using my dad's ford explorer for the night.... was caught going over 100 in a 65. In NJ thats double the fine and the points... gave me the ticket sayin i was going 90... went to court they knocked off the double fine... so i paid the regular fine and got 2 points instead of 4... blows.. because the insurance goes up for three years!!!! : (

I've always got small ones for speeding, the Best was when I was doing 76 in a 75 in my 1969 Mustang GT, (before I had to sell her) A Blue, no-lights cop was waiting under a bridge and even if I was good, he peeled out and caught up with me. Only to scare me and tell me he was in a Mustang too and had to **** with me. Funny-

i was pushing 125 up the 5 north in a 3.2 tl type S around bakersfield and this chp saw me and went after me like 5 minutes later and i pulled off at a rest stop and me and my friends went into the bathroom. any ways the cop found the car, and chilled around it for like 15 minutes... then just left, we took some other freeway out of the way cause we though she was looking for us...

I got a ticket for loud exaust and reckless driving, i was only going 5 mph out of a parking space in downtown LA, he said i cut like person off and my exaust was toooo loud, blah blah blah, and i almost caused a big acccedent, what a *** hole...
