Not that "y'all" will care (just playin), but Canadian law regarding knives holds no consideration with respects to the blade size.

Any knife that can be opened by applying centrifical force or by hand pressure applied to a button, spring or other device os a prohibited weapon.

So butterfly, switch, or stiletto knives are illigal (up here anyway).

Butter flys are illeagle to carry not to own , and it is up to a six inch blade.
