Just popping in to give you a hello and what's up along with a short update. I imagine most of you are chomping at the bit to get the cars out and going with spring here and all...hehe
I still have the civic and though I'd really like something else I'm not in a rush to get rid of it yet I guess although this weather makes me want a bike like NOW!
So, I got a job finally. I'm an application support specialist with Pacific Blue Cross. It's a contract postition (as most IT jobs with PBC) but it gets renewed every 6 months and there's really no end in sight to it. It pays around $36 an hour so after doing so damn much for so damn little in Ottawa (with Pennant @ DND) I'm finally making what I feel I deserve. I just finished my first week and it was pretty cool. My boss and a few guys I also hang out with at lunch are all guitar players like me so at least I have some people to socialize with. My job mostly involves C++, JAVA++ and VB6 along with some other stuff like SQL. They have a large scale application that runs internally on a client/server setup and the client version which is in Java and on the internet. I manage those plus three other internal applications and do the maintenance and so on.
I'm still very much into the whole outdoors thing. Jenny and I are going on the West Coast Trail on May 21st. It's a 75km hike that will take us 7 days to complete.http://www.vancouverislandoutdoors.c...ail/views.html
People have actually been killed on this thing...haha. Last year there were over 125 evacuations as well...sound like fun?
Other than that...I miss watching ottawa senator games
my dad is sending me some stuff to hang up in my cubicle to razz the Canuck fans at work...hehe.

Sell the civic ... get the $12-14g's ... use that for the downpayment on the G35 ... and finance the rest.
That'll prolly be cheaper than leasing, plus its your own car.
