06 Honda civic engine light after new intake
Hey everyone, not to sure if you can help with this, but shortly after installing a new cold air intake into my 06 civic dx and engine light popped up. Ran the code, got p0171 lean fuel mixture. I havnt noticed any problems with the performance of the car, no loss and not a noticeable gain. Not sure if any of you have had this problem as well, or if anyone knows what to do to fix it? I've cleared the code at advice from a buddy who is a mechanic, but it only comes back a few hours later. But I'm worried it could be caused by something more. Thanks guys.

Check that there is no debris (dirt, bugs, etc) stuck in the MAF sensor.
Make sure you got the MAF sensor turned the correct direction.
Did that help?
If no, then put the stock intake system back on, clear the code, and see if the code stays gone.
