Aight Stop "Dremel" Time

Aight boys ... the HID kit is in - and I've pretty much laid it out in my living room and wired it together.

Everything is cool, and it doesn't required any modifications.

I do need to Dremel the hole in the TYC's to fit the bulb in, I know Pierres got one - I'll hopefully do that this week.

***************

So is anyone available to help me install the TYC's onto the car ? Freddy showed me how to take the bumper off, but its been a while and I forgot. Anyways lemme know if you can help - no need to get dirty I can do it all, just need directions.

Here's a link -- not the best advice, but the removal is straight forward..

Pop the clips just above your grill. Pop the clip (possibly remove screws) on the underside of the bumper. Remove screws in wheel wells. Yank

Easier said than done basically Good luck with everything though. I'd help, but I'm working this weekend anyways - and can't manage that trip

lol ... I think I can try the dremelling on my own - Freddy's offered to help install during the daytime on the weekend of 8-9 of April. Plus he is a wiring genius :P

So that weekend should be the front grill, TYC and the OEM fogs and hopefully we can experiment with the HID.

I set it up at home on the carpet and the wiring to me seems straight forward. We could go ahead and finish the entire job.

Freddy's the **** !

K sweet anytime Erik

So ok ... got the dremel from Pierre last night, and just dremeled the holes bigger. Got the bulbs in, I think its pretty much rdy to go in - as long as I got the wiring right.

I might test it out on my car sometime next weekend, just to see if they light up. Wish me luck

People have been saying that it's better to do a whole retrofit into the TYC's, but price wise, It's probably easier to get a kit like Mike did. I'll see how it looks then see what route I would like to do. I'll probably just get halogen's for now.

Yah I dont really know .. alot of people have bashed the conversion kits ... but I dunno my uncles got them on his car ... for a year now and they've been fine.
I also got a two year warranty on them so ... hopefully that should be good.

I got the McCollough kit - $305 USD.

I'd do a retro ... but I'm not gonna spend $800+ or whatever it costs. If the conversion kit is no good, then I already have the TYC's so I can just retro fit later.
