Hey guys...man, it feels like forever since I've been back in Ontario and it's only been just over a month

Thought I would drop a thread here to say hi and update everyone on what's been going on with me since I moved to B.C.

First off...no job yet unfortunately but I'm getting really close on a few fronts for sure. Last call I got was from a corporate headhunter who was looking at me for an Oracle job. He happened to notice my developer background and even more extensive background with aviation, military imparticular. He has a friend that runs a company in Burnaby that make/produce/develop military aviation flight simulator programs...he asked if he could pass my resume off to this guy...I of course said YES! lol. Fingers crossed!

Since arriving here and I guess slightly before leaving I started a diet plan and have more or less kept to it. Difference being that I'm not doing a 'crash' style diet anymore, I'm just eating a lot healthier than I was before. I'm down to about 175lbs from the 200 I started at..hehe. I guess that combined with a good tan and tons of running/hiking/working out have changed my appearances quite dramatically. I went nutts upon getting here to arrange for as many dental appointments as possible before my benefits ran out from my previous job in Ottawa. I think I crammed in 4 or 5 before the 21st of December..lol.

My car is still in one peice but I'm leaning more and more on getting a truck of some sort. Probably a 1996 Tacoma or something like that. Jenny and I go to so many remote areas for our hikes and stuff that it just makes more sense..the Civic just can't do it all the time. Not to mention we plan to start carting around mountain bikes pretty soon and by summer possibly kyaks lol

I've been fortunate enough to catch a fair amount of Senators games out here so I'm not suffering from withdrawl too badly just yet I absolutely LOVED the game on Saturday...nothing better than totally HAMMERING Toronto...even if they are injury depleated hehe. Not sure why everyone here thinks I'm supposed to convert to a Nucks fan but it'll NEVER happen!

hmm..Weather. Well it's been raining alot for the last 3 weeks. We've been lucky a few times with it though. We went to Stanley Park last weekend on Saturday and got nothing but sunshine when it was calling for rain. We walked the entire 9km's or so around the seawall...amazing view!

Drivers in Vancouver SUCK SUCK SUCK!!! that's all I'm gonna say about that.

I haven't got my new plates yet or my license changed but that'll be coming soon. You have to set up your plates and insurance at the same place, at the same time...it's kinds strange actually. I have to get an inspection done on my car first before the plates are issued as well. booo!

Anyway..that's it for now but I'll leave you with a few pics.

Mike thanks for stopping by! Glad to hear things are working out for you and Jenny, and don't worry about the whole job thing, something will happen for you I'm sure! As for the pictures, the both of you look really good! Mike you look completly different, and of course Jenny looks as good as always Although I've never met her in person. Pictures are really good. Oh by the way we will be coming to BC the week of March 4th-11th So hopefully my folks will allow us to take the car and go visit you two! (I hope they will be able to let us go for at LEAST half the day) I'll keep you posted on our trip dude!

I was thinking about coming back for my uncles wedding in February but we'll see. I definately will come back at some point before spring I imagine depending on the work situation.
