HID Kit

Ok so my uncle bought a HID kit for his Altima ... and it looks amazing, and easy install.

Now I've messaged the company to purchase it for my civic. Everything seems cool, except that I'd need to purchase the more expensive dual beam HID kit, if I want to still keep my HI beams - which I do want to keep.

But now he sent something about how I would most likely/should disable the daytime running lights, becuase that can damage the ballast.

My uncles cars daytime running lights are not the same as his normal headlights, ours unfortunately are. Anyone know how to do this ? Is it easy ?

Maybe if I disable the daytimes, I can just install some fog lights like Abe ?

Lemme know if you guys have any help on this.

here is the place if you guys are interested ... http://www.hidplace.com/hid.html

check the site ... the prices vary depending on what colour of beam you want, white, blue-white, blue, purple.

Also if you want the single or dual beam ...

As for lancer - check what your bulb make is, ours for civic is H4 ... the website has all the bulb sizes they have available.

This is what they carry in this brand
Bulbs Sizes: H1, H3, H4*, H7, H8, H9, H11, 9004, 9005, 9006, 9007, D2S

I'm ready to but but this whole Daytime running thing is now messing me up, anyone know how to disable the daytime running light system ?
