Suspension
Ok, so I went to the dealer today in gatineau, (cause I use to go to huntclub but my car sat there for 1 month and a half and my stereo got stolen) to get my brakes pads and oil change, and it ends up to 1000$ (turn the disc to) cause they said I needed new bushings for my table and for my struts I think. They also said I needed new shocks (3) but I said know to that cause it would have been 1700$. My question is would you guys buy oem shocks or would go for the Koni's.
i'm not planning on moding alot, just maybee some rims and exhaust headers thats all. and i'm keeping the car till I finish university (5 years)

I would go out and buy Koni's! I've had my struts replaced once (under waranty) and I'm on Neuspeed sport springs. I am hoping that I can make the struts last until next summer, because I'll be getting coilovers.
You're warranty is obviously over, stay clear of OEM. Chances are you'll get the same model strut (from an '01) and you'll have to go back in a year or two again and spend another $700. Be smart get aftermarket

No, I just replaced the table bushing, swaybar bushing, linkkit????, alignement, and my brakes.
Shocks are next.
But I dont know what to do OEM or koni or other. if I go with the konis, will it be as same as stock, (with stock springs)

ok, if u r planning to get rims, lowering your car, even a bit is a must, and with lowered springs. it is much better to go with better shocks.
any lowering springs will be stiffer then stock, but goldlines are the softist. Now what i would suggest is get after market shocks that are adjustable, so u can set how sticf or hard they are. and they will last you forever.
as for the breaks, man they charged you wayyyyyy to much. i changed my pads and rotors at midas for 350. bushing would have costed u maybe an extra 200 bucks.

First off your struts should be covered? Second holy **** where are you taking your car. That is way to much. You have to go into these places knowing what you are talking about. being a girl I have alot of "mechanics" trying to tell me what I need. Plus do you not know anyone who could help you out to install somethings? I think I might have a header for sale. Let me double check. It is a hp I think.
