Man, this morning I was thinkin to myself....it's pretty much February, so that means we have almost 2 months of hardcore winter left. Luckily March isn't really that bad, Feb is a toss up usually.

ok, after some deep thinking, i have decided to get some minor mods to make the ride a winie bit better, im gonna get a muffler, and lower the car, i am thinking of teins (just srpings), or goldlines.

what do u need to install a muffler, a welder? or should i just let someone do it for me.

SWEET!!!
okay for the muffler ur gonna need the right tools to take off hte spring loaded bolts. I dont think its possible with simple hand tools. Air tools most recommended, or just cutting them off. After that install is a joke I assume. As for the srpings id say go for it. As long as u drive decently on ur stock shocks they should be okay!

if you get universal mufflers, you need them installed by a shop since you need cutting tools and welder, but if it's direct bolt on, it's easy as chaning engine oils.

dang, I was gonna drop my car as well but I dont think it's good idea now since I got a full fiberglass kit.

oh yeah, I might get a moonroof installed later this year, it was quoted 850 with a pro install and warranty anyone interested?

Have you seen their work? I don't need one but I'm curious as to how nice it would look.

Yeah I second that one. I've been told that aftermarket sunroofs have a tendancy to leak, if you don't go to the right place.

dammit, i cant sleep, i am so low on sleep but i still cant fall asleep, this damn gym is killing me, i am all sore and tired, but i cant sleep, aaaaah

anyways, here is the delimma now, if i lower my car, then i wont be autocrossing this season, cause i know i would bust my shocks if i do. so now i dont know if i should autocross or lower, and if i lower should i go goldline with a nice 1.7 drop or teins with a 1.3 drop. bah

by the way baller, how much did u pay for your exhaust

d00d, your shocks are gonna blow anyways...autocross or not.

autocross won't directly bust your struts...daily driving over potholes will! that's what did me in: potholes.

so do the drop, dawg

not a bad idea. but, the stock struts are known to blow...so they'll probably blow whether or not you slam it, ya know?

don't be gay: get springs or coils! hehehe

Tek: Exactly, my struts had to be replaced. When I went in for my service (type C I think) they checked the struts (I asked them to) and all the other essentials, the mechanic came out and asked me what year my car was, when I told him it was an '01 he was surprised when I told him they were never replaced.

~~ how much did it cost for you to get your struts replaced???

So yes, they will eventually go with or without springs. (maybe faster with though... who knows...

EXTRA WEIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

why bother.... ask yourself this.... do you NEED it. I'd rather spend the cash on performance!!

Andrew: You can check for leaky oil (yes your shocks have oil in them). if they are all gunky and sticky I'd get them checked.... or if your ride is REALLY soft over bumps.... thats another sign. By soft I mean the car bounces more than 1.5 time over a speed bump or a big pothole. Your car shouldn't be jumpin like a pimped out caddy
